Program Description: This hospital-based clinic is open to any adult referred by their Primary Care Provider.  It consists of an individual intake with a physician referral, 7 group sessions (held once a week), and aftercare support sessions for one year.  Also offering 4-week educational program.

Program Services: Face-to-face counseling, group counseling, supervised medication support (nicotine replacement or Zyban), and relapse prevention counseling (for recent quitters).

Program site is wheelchair accessible and accessible by public transportation.  Employer-based program fees may be reimbursable by insurance.    Languages:  English

Program Description:
"QuitSmart" was developed at the Duke Medical Center Stop Smoking Clinic.  This program combines brief cognitive-behavioral training with hypnosis to achieve cessation in 3-4 sessions.  Participants receive a course guide, hypnosis tape & cigarette substitute.  Individual sessions are 45-50 minutes.  Naomi Goldblum, PhD, is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with 16 years experience and a certified hypnotherapist with the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis.

Program Services:
Face-to-face counseling, group counseling, hypnosis with cognitive/behavioral counseling.

The program site is wheelchair accessible and accessible by public transportation.  Services are available  to cigarette, cigar & pipe smokers and smokeless tobacco users.
