Program Description: This hospital-based program, developed by Dr. Terry Rustin, is offered in 10 weekly one-hour sessions. In addition, a support group meets monthly. Facilitators are registered nurses and recovered smokers.
Program Services: Group counseling
Program site is wheelchair accessible and accessible by public transportation. Program fees are insurance reimbursable and services are available to all smokers and smokeless tobacco users. Special populations served include pregnant women, low-income patients, veterans and youth.
