Plan To Quit is a highly interactive smoking-cessation workshop for groups of 4-12 in which a group of colleagues supports each individual's decision to quit smoking. During 4-5 weekly sessions, participants learn the skills essential to successful quitting: coping with cravings, recognizing triggers, discovering alternatives to smoking, gaining support, and preventing relapse. Dr. Hazelip has developed a unique method to simplify and encourage smoking cessation--The t-Zone Defense. Workshop participants use this new tool to practice, in a limited way, being smoke-free. This strengthens their confidence and supports their conviction that they can live without cigarettes. Since the company sponsors the program, there is no charge to the individual participant.
