ARLINGTON
"Quit for Good" Program

Program Description: This hospital-based class meets for one hour a total of five times over a 4-week period. Each participant receives an American Heart Association "Quit for Good" packet. The facilitators are health educators with a B.S. or M.S. degree and training through the American Cancer Society. Fee: $50
Program Services: Face-to-face counseling, group counseling, supervised medication support (nicotine replacement, Zyban), relapse prevention counseling (for recent quitters).
The program site is wheelchair accessible and accessible by public transportation. Services are available to cigarette/cigar and pipe smokers as well as smokeless tobacco users.
